A few weeks ago, some 7th graders had a fire-bending war (Like in Avatar, the Last Air bender). While it was snowing. I couldn't stop laughing.

Today I was at a swim meet at the YWCA. On the wall, they had quotes from the kids who took lessons there. Some made me laugh. Here they are:

Instructor: What's your name?

Kid: Max. But my gramma calls me meatball.

Instructor: Can anybody name a safety skill?

Kid: Never fry bacon with your shirt off.

Instructor: Now, lets play a game. What kind of tree would you like to be?

Kid: I don't want to be a tree. I want to be a squirrel.

Last night I was watching pingu with my little sister... and it kinda made me laugh a little bit... so I put it up here. also I just like putting videos on here ever since I figured out I could.

Hi so my dad showed me a video my cousin made, and its super funny, so I'm posting it here. They take a shopping cart,put it on skis, fill it with junk food, and send it down the Hyland Hills ski jump.

Last night, after swimming, while we were waiting for our parents to come, my friend started singing "Row, row, row your boat,  gently down the stream..." And everybody else joined in for "Merrily merrily

merrily merrily life is but a dream!". Then, one boy who was also waiting, told us we were singing it wrong. "No, it goes like this!"

"Row, row, row your boat,

Gently down the stream,

Haha fooled you,

I'm a submarine!"

I agree. His version is cooler.

Sliced Bread

Last week in gym, me and a friend were talking about how much we didn't like something, I can't remember exactly what, and another one of my friends, who'd been listening to our conversation, says, "Well, I think its the best thing since sliced bread!" And walks off.She must really like sliced bread.

Mailman

Today on my walk home from school, I said hi to the mailman (as i always do, his route overlaps with my walk home) and then he says "You're wearing boots today!" (I usually wear shoes because I have to carry them in my backpack if i have boots). Good to know even the mailman pays attention to what I'm wearing on my feet.

Appearently, laptop computers falling from the overhead bins onto passengers’ heads are among the most common accidents aboard airplanes, so next time you're on a plane, watchout. 

ski practice

Last night @ ski practice I had a really  bad wipe-out. I didn't get hurt, but learned a few important things:

1. The snow on the ski hill doesn't taste very good.
2. Getting snow up your nose is NOT cool.
3. Know if its icy/slippery BEFORE you go down
4. I need to turn earlier.

winter in russia

My Grandma sent me pictures of winter in Russia. The one picture here is of the highway. Walls of snow as high as the second floor of a building. I'm glad I don't live in Russia.

redo

Oh my gosh so the people who run blogspot changed the posting area so now all the buttons are in different places and i don't have any of the same colors... I used to do a lot of my posts in that purple color, but now I can't, and lots of other things are messed up. The colors are all so dull!

Caution tape

Yesterday I was at a swim meet and between the hallway and the bleachers by the pool, there was this really clear glass. The first time I walked to the bleachers, I ran into it because i didn't see the glass.
The next time I passed by there was caution tape all over the window. Guess i wasn't the only one who was fooled. 

Also... I am super happy because i got SECOND in my ski race today! Yay!

Blog Makeover!

So... As anyone who's been to my blog before can tell, I redid it. If you hate it, comment and i'll change it, but I'm fine with it for now. I like the jellybeans.

Speaking of jellybeans... I haven't had one for a really long time...

Today my pet frog waved at me. No Joke.

universe

Today in science we talked about the universe and how we think there's another one right outside ours. Like Horton Hears a Who. Appearently, I could be standing in a universe other than our own right now, but i wouldn't know it because I can't see it. The tiny speck on the desk could be a universe, or maybe our universe's just a speck on somebody else's desk. And that got me thinking... Nothing I will ever do will make that much off a difference because there's so much more than just us, the earth, the solar system, the milky way, and our universe. Ahhhh!

opposite day

Today my younger sister told me that opposite day can't exist because the opposite of opposite day is not opposite day, or a normal day. Mind blown.
