Ski club!

So, I had ski club yesterday. Fun fun. Anyways, while I'm skiing I pass this guy from 7th grade then stop to wait for pebbles. Then the 7th grader goes "Hey! You're that Saint Thomas More kid!" The problem with this was that he, also, went to St. Thomas More. I replied "Yeah." then mumbled "apperently, I am." It bugs me when people get my name wrong, or, even worse, little girl. Two times when I went skiing I have been called little girl. The first time: I'm about to go off a big jump
then a snowboarder says to me. "Hey little girl, don't fall!" then I go off the jump, land it perfectly and look back. Religon: "Luchia I like that name" My Thoughts:It's just Lucy. whatever.0


Green tip: REUSE: If you don't have a water bottle, reuse one of those plasitc ones that come in big packs. Keep one to reuse. I have seen pinhead and others do it before.

Ski club!

So my dad got this show from netflix called pukka. It was created by a 10 year-old girl. The full title is: Pukka ninjas like noodles. You can tell a 10 year-old was involved. There's dynamite, ninjas, giant noodles, and the main character has a crush on this really good ninja who these bad guys are trying to kill. It's funny, and I like it, even if it is really little-kidish. (If that's even a word)

Afton

I had a ski race @ Afton Alps last sunday. I did pretty well fifth or sixth or something. Anyways, I f you didn't know already, Afton's huge! 16 Chair lifts and, like, 3 sheldues! Me and Pebbles explored the whole thing. It took a while. Some of the chairlifts were sorta scary but it was awesome! On this one hill I ran straight into a tree. (ouch!) an bounced back away from it. Then there was this tunnel you could ski / snowboard through. It was pretty cool.

Ways to annoy other people and amuse yourself.

There are many ways to do it, I could give you an ongoing list, but since that would take too long, I will just name a few.

#1: People don't like it when there are flies on their head. So I made this track up @ about noon.
Go up to someone and say "There's a fly on your head." or "You have some fuzz in your hair." even if they don't. Then say some thing like "Here, let me get it for you." Then pirtend it won't go off.
(The point of this trick is to get someone to let you continuesly wack them on the head. he he.

#2: Do you ever get those little cards that sing? In this trick what you do is you cut the music- box out of the card and attach it to a door hinge. When anyone opens the door, music will start playing and the won't know where it's coming from! those things have long batteries too.

#3:This trick involves picking an arguement with someone find out some thing they don't like and go against it. Here's an example.

"Chocolate's better than carmel."
"No it isn't!"

then continue this until the person gets really mad.

then say "I won."
then they'll go "how? you didn't and let them continue and just keep answering...
"Because I won."

skiing

So today I had skiing and the weather was nice. (I didn't fall either!) On the ski team there are two boys. They are friends, but they try to kill each other. So they were at the top of the hill when one knocks the other over and his ski fell off. The guy who's ski didn't fall off took one of the other guy's skis and skied down the black daimond. The other guy was stuck @ the top of the hill with only one ski while me, my friend, and the guy who had his other ski sat at the bottom laughing. He he. It was really funny. He realised that I was impossible for him to go down on one ski so he took it off and walked down. Mean while at the bottom. The guy who stole the ski carried the ski away from the hill, and stuck it in the ground. When the one- skier got to the bottom he tried to kill his friend. My friend said, Wouldn't that be a great you tube video?

So there's this song on youtube called the ninja glare and it's really weird it goes...

OMG.

Banana

I have decided to do today's post on Bananas! So, today at lunch(@ school) there were bananas. These were mini, green, yellow and had brown spots. My friend got one. I said to her "that doesn't look normal." then she opens it and looks at it. After a moment of thinking she took a nibble out of her banana. She looks at my and says "It doesn't taste normal either."

So then there's this song called "Apples and Bananas" It goes.....

Green Tip: Plant A Tree! (And guess what? this part isn't about bananas!)

Names.

Some stores are named weird names, as are some songs. I have been to a store called the Essence of Nonsense and to a bulding called the Bigelio Buliding. There is a song in High School Musical 2 called Humuhumunukunukuapua'a I had to look it up to spell it right and I still don't know if it's right. People should be able to actuall spell the name of a song. I wonder if the High School Musical people consitered that. ? Also isn't it weird that McDonalds is the name of a farmer in a little kid's song. (Old McDonald had a farm E I E I O) It isn't right if you ask me. If you think up the name of a weird song or bulding, please click comment and write it. I'd like to hear It.

Green tip: uhhhh.... lets see. Oh! Got one! Recycle paper. The newspaper that you've already read, pictures that you drew and don't like, to- do lists from 2 months ago....... Anyways just recycle!

Dora!

According to my little sister (who is 3) there are two types of Dora episodes. Ones in which Dora turns into a princess ond ones when she doesn't. This made me laugh a bit. She even sorts Doras by what she does. She also likes Diego.Another Dora related thing..let's see.... oh yeah. So one time I was reading during school when someone sings..."Dora, Dora, Dora the Dystroyer!" It was kinda wierd.

Green Tip: Reuse plastic containers (like yogurt thingeys and other stuff like that) you can use them to hold things for lunch, bowls, art projects, lots of stuff. REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE!

I just noticed that my last 2 posts were in green and pink. I said to myself..." Is that bad?" and I ask you.... "Is that bad??"

Green Tip: Try to eat all the food on your plate during meals. Believe it or not; the average person throws out about 4 lbs of waste each day. If you cut down on what you waste, It can help the world. Every little bit will help.

Since I do not know what on earth to write about I will just do a green tip.

Green tip: Turn the water of while you are brushing your teeth.

So, now you're going yeah every body says to do it and I already do. It's the truth and I'm with you on that but listen to this: All the clean water that you put down the drain could be going to people who have less water that isn't clean. In my opinion, it's easier to do something if you know why you're doing it.

Book

Maybe you've noticed, maybe you haven't but most books are about a boy or have a boy as a main character. Some examples include Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Found, Heat, and numerous others (I could go on forever, well, at least a pretty long time.) These books are normally about a boy & his problems. (I'm not saying they are all about boys and their problems). There also books that go like this: Depressed boy meets girl. Girl helps boy. Boy is no longer depressed. Girl dies. And then of course the boy is depressed again. Some examples of these are Bridge to Tarabithia and Among the Hidden. There are books about girls, there are just less. Examples: Catherine Called Birdy, Yellow Star, and some others. Girls seem to be secondary characters most of the time. This can be maddening if, (like me) you are a girl.

I'm beginning to wonder if my blog is boring or not.

Today My and my friend decided to parachute things out the window. We ended up parachuting a headless barbie in a sparklie blue toga off of my balcony with a garbage-bag parachute. It worked, after a few tries. It took a while because me and my friend couldn't stop laughing, Then my friend accidently dropped a 5 foot long bamboo pole down that landed inches from my head. It was really funny. I bet you've never parachuted a headless barbie in a blue toga off a balcony. Then again, most people aren't that weird and bored......................

A Random Question I have.

Why is the sky blue?

This morning was pretty normal. The only thing that didn't happen was I forgot to make the toast I wanted. It's kinda weird, and I know you don't care, but I did.

Chair Lift

Many strange things can happen on chairlifts. There's the usual dropping of poles and stuff but some people do really wierd things. Last weekend, on the chair behind me & my friend's a snowboarder suddenly blurted out "DANCE PARTY!!" and started to dance and sing. Last year, three of my friends started singing Bet On It from High School Musical in three parts on the lift. Some people also yell "Hi!" to others on the hill or just watch people fall on the terrain-park (It can sometimes be funny to watch others wipe out, but it depends on the person).

computers and calculators

If you think about it, Computers and calculators are amazing and a little werid. Have you ever wondered how they worked and how much technology is in one of those things? And, also , calculators can solve seemingly impossible questions in a second. Computers are really cool. (according to me) On one you can play games, write a report, do reserch, post on a blog, almost anything. Technology is pretty cool. : )

Wall

Today I had a ski race @ Wild Mountain It was fun but once again, I fell. Every time I go there I fall and either hurt myself or get a bad time in my race. It's like a curse. Even my friend thinks so. At Wild Mountain there is a dobble black diamond called The Wall. Needless to say, it wasw really steep. The sign next to it said "experts only" I didn't know if I was an expert so I went down it anyway. I bombed it and it was really awesome. I understood then how it got it's name

At my school ( also probably in others) the school's lunches can be good or bad. There's not a single meal that everybody eats, nor one that nobody eats. So, it's all balanced. I don't like our school's meatloaf, ommlets, ham & cheese melts, ham and scallopped potatoes, or hamburgers. But that's just me. It's kinda wierd to think what people are eating in other places.

Hi! My friend made her 200th post on her blog for her b-day last night. I wasn't amazing, but it was pretty cool consitering she did 100 posts in a month and 7 days.

Bumper sticker.

When I was going to my piano lesson last tuesday I saw a bumper sticker on a car that said "Who would Jesus bomb?" It was a wierd question because the Bible says he wouldn't bomb anybody.

I know this is random, but time and time travel is a very confusing thing to think about. For Example, If you went back in time and somehow you going back killed one of your ancestors, you wouldn't exsist (poof!). In fact, you could change the whole world just by bringing new technology back to 1840. It's a puzzling thing to think about. Think about it. What would ou do if you could go back in time?

A few weeks ago a saw a squirrel in my backyard. So, I know you're thinking "well so what?" but this was no ordinary squirrel. This squirrel had a large piece of burnt toast and was eating it happily out in the snow. Then I tapped on the window to scare it away and guess what it did. It picked up its black toast and ran up the tree with it. It wasn't normal.

Janoitor Closet

So one time in the closet, I said to my friend, "Wouldn't it be funny if Idropped this hose and water went everywhere?" Just then guess what happened. The hose slipped from my hand and the water flew everywhere! Then she said "I wonder what would happen If we put this paintbrush in the hose then turned it on high...?" So, of course, we tries it and this time we soaked the walls and the paintbrush flew. How wierd is that?

The Janitor's Closet

I know you'll think I'm really wierd when I say that it is fun to play in the school's janitor closet. The foset o the sink has a hose attached to it and when it slipps out of your hand the water flies all over and (of course) you get wet. When I'm in there I am usually cleaning paintbrushes in there so...... water + paint = big mess. Both on you nd on floor. So then me and my friend mop up the water and leave. It is always really fun and I have no idea why.

So, I had skiing today and I fell literally 15 times. Most of them hurt (ouch!).
But I still had lots of fun and it was finally warm! :)
